166 Meter Waterline Weltrekord

Ein Jahr nachdem Alex eine 140 Meter lange Wasserline über dem Badesee von Uttendorf laufen konnte, kehrte das One Inch Dreams Team geschlossen zur zweiten Ausgabe des Waterline Events zurück, das am 1. und 2. Juni 2012 stattfand. Es gab einen Trickline und Water-Speedline Contest und einen Weltrekordversuch für die längste Waterline.

One year after Alex could walk a 140 meters long slackline over the swimming lake of Uttendorf (Austria), the One Inch Dreams team returned together to enjoy a waterline event happening there on the 2nd of June. It contained a trickline contest, a speedline contest on a 30m waterline and a world record try for the longest waterline. At the same time there happened a climbing competition. While it lasted, there was no chance of sending the long one, because the DJ played the worst music ever! But when it was finished, we could play our own slackline vibes and that in combination with a lot of motivation brought Alex to the other end of the 166 meters long waterline. Zur selben Zeit fand ein Boulder-Wettkampf statt. Solange dieser andauerte, gab es für Alex keine Mögliochkeit die lange Line zu laufen, da der DJ sehr schlechte Musik spielte! Als er endlich weg war, konnten wir unsere eigene Musik auflegen und das in Verbindung mit großer Motivation brachte Alex ans andere Ende der 166 Meter langen Waterline. Um noch einen drauszusetzen, gewann er anschließend noch den Water-Speedline Contest. Johannes überquerte die 30m lange Waterline immerhin noch als Drittschnellster.

Ein Tag voller Spaß und guter Erinnerungen (Wenn man vom bösen Sturz auf den Kopf von Alex zum Schluss absieht.)!
